D.T.Ed. Dip. in Teacher Education (2 years)
Eligibility for admission is a pass in Higher Secondary or any equivalent exam with a percentage not less than 45%. The course includes an internship practice cum observation in a Government school for a period of 40 days each year which is mandatory.
Infrastructure
Transport Facilities: Sai Krubha Teacher Training Institute is situated at Pammal and is one Kilometer from Pallavaram bus stand and Railway station. The institute is easily accessible with adequate transport facilities
Library: Our library provides lot of information regarding the knowledge pertaining to the school subjects, magazines, newspapers, story books which stimulates, guides and enriches the students wherein they can utilise their spare time in a more effective and constructive way. Our institute provides a spacious reading hall with a very good ambience for studying.
Hostel: Hostel accommodation provided for our students has spacious, furnished and well ventilated rooms with attached bath-cum-toilets. It has an excellent living environment separately for girls and boys to house nearly 100 students. The Principal and warden monitor the progress and achievement of the hostellers.
Project work and field trips: As part of project work, students are taken to places like the Planetarium, Museum, Mahabalipuram, Dhakshinchitra, Guindy Park, Muttukadu, etc. every year as part of their curriculum.
