PERI Institute of Technology (PERI IT) was established for providing Technical Education of High Quality to the youth. This objective has been transformed into reality by the sustained and focused efforts of Mr. Sarav Periasamy, the founding President & CEO of PERI Software Solutions Inc., headquartered in New Jersey, U.S.A and has branches in other parts of U.S.A, China and India.
PERI Institute of Technology has been established by PERI Educational and Charitable Trust.
VISION: PERI Institute of Technology visualizes growing, in future, to an internationally recognized seat of higher learning in Engineering, Technology & Science. It also visualizes being a Research Incubator for Academics, Industrialists and Researchers to come from across the world and work utilizing the sophisticated and state of the art equipment and amenities provided at the Institute.
MISSION: In the process of realization of its Vision, PERI IT strives to provide quality Technical Education at affordable cost in a challenging & stimulating environment with State of the Art facilities and a Team of Dedicated and Talented Academicians drawn from various parts of the world while striving to maintain Honesty, Transparency, Trust and Excellence.
The Institute is built at Mannivakkam, Chennai – 600 048 in a sprawling area of 15 Acres with modern facilities & amenities congenial for higher learning. PERI IT is recognized as an institution offering technical education by AICTE, New Delhi and is affiliated to Anna University of Technology, Chennai.

Infrastructure
The College has spacious Class Rooms, Drawing Halls, Laboratories, Workshop, Administrative Offices and Cafeteria housed in 4 Blocks. All the Laboratories and Workshop are adequately and well equipped. A Computing Centre of capacity more than 40 Students and a Language Laboratory of 30 Students are functional.
Library: The College Library is accommodated in an area of 400 sq. m. The library has a collection of over 300 Titles and 2380 Volumes of Text books and 7 International and 26 National journals. The Library has a separate ‘Electronics Resources Wing’ and Digital Library to access online e-journals.
Hostel: Currently, the hostels are in rented accommodation and separate hostel blocks of capacity 100 and 70 respectively for boys & girls are under construction.
Cafeteria: A cafeteria, which can serve 40 persons at a time, functions inside the campus and serves breakfast, lunch, coffee / tea, light snacks and dinner at affordable rates.
Transport: The College runs a number of Vehicles (Buses / Vans) for providing transport to the Students and Staff from their place of residence to the college and back. Students and Staff can board the Vehicles at their nearest boarding point.

Placement
PERI IT is partnering with TFSC (TANSTIA - FNF Service Centre, www.tanstiafnf.com) for setting up the centre of excellence. The unique feature of this centre is to link the students directly to the small & medium enterprises engaged in manufacturing across various sectors. From the beginning of their academic career, the students would have an opportunity to get a hands-on experience to touch feel & work with the various gadgets, machinery used in the manufacturing sector. They will also be exposed to all the quality standards & other parameters required globally for a manufacturing company as most of the SME'S with whom the Centre of Excellence would be coordinated are Tier I, II & III suppliers of the MNCs.
