Coimbatore: Bharathiar University will celebrate its 30{+t}{+h}Formation Day on February 3 and 4. According to Vice-Chancellor C. Swaminathan, the occasion will be a chance to honour the stakeholders who have been responsible in taking the university to great heights. The main programme on February 4 will witness the presence of ministers, former Vice-Chancellors and Registrars.
Minister for Higher Education P. Palaniappan, Minister for Agriculture S. Damodaran, Higher Education Secretary T.S. Sridhar, Mayor S.M. Velusamy, and District Collector M. Karunagaran will felicitate. Besides this function, there will be cultural events, distribution of rewards, and a dinner planned to be held on February 3.
