• Notification on May 15 and applications will be issued from May 16 until June 2

Chennai: The schedule for the process of admission into medical and dental graduate courses in Tamil Nadu will be kick started with the issue of notification on May 15.

Applications will be issued from May 16 until June 2.

The last date for receipt of applications is also June 2. The Merit List will be published on June 21 and the date for commencement of the first phase of counselling is June 30.

As per the current position, there are a total of 1,653 MBBS seats in 17 Government Medical colleges in the State, and a total of 635 seats in eight self-financing medical colleges. All these seats will be allocated through the single window counselling system.

A total of 85 seats in the single Government Dental College in Tamil Nadu, and 891 seats in 17 self-financing dental colleges are also available under the State quota.
