Applications are invited from recognized Degree Holders for admission to MBA / MCA Degree Courses offered in Government, Government Aided Engineering and Arts and Science Colleges and for the seats surrendered by the Self Financing Engineering and Arts & Science Colleges under the purview of Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai - 600 025 and Directorate of Collegiate Education, Chennai - 600 006 including Standalone Institutions for the academic year 2009 - 2010.

Application Cost: Rs. 300/- (Rs. 150/- for SC/ST)

Mode of Payment (DD):
Demand Draft obtained not earlier than 08.06.2009 from any Nationalized / Scheduled Bank drawn in favour of "The Secretary, Tamil Nadu MBA / MCA Admissions 2009, Government College of Technology, Coimbatore" payable at Coimbatore.
Application Forms:

• In Person: The prescribed Application forms can be obtained in person from the Engineering, Polytechnic and Arts and Science Colleges on all working days between 10.00 AM and 05.00 PM. For list of colleges refer website www.tndte.gov.in.
  * Attested Xerox copy of SC / ST Community Certificate should be produced for receiving application.
  
  
• By Post: Application form can also be obtained by post from "The Secretary, Tamil Nadu MBA / MCA Admissions 2008, Government College of Technology, Coimbatore - 641 013" by sending a separate self -addressed envelope of size 35cms x 30cms duly affixing stamp to the value of Rs.50/- along with a Demand Draft as mentioned above towards cost of application with a requisition letter.
  
  
• Through Website: Application form can also be downloaded from website www.tndte.gov.in, Demand Draft Should be sent along with the filled in application form.
  Self addressed envelope of 26.5cm X 11.5cm with stamp for Rs.8/- duly affixed should be sent along with the application form. The communication address should be legibly written on the envelope.
  The application form along with necessary enclosures together with self addressed envelopes should be sent in a cover of size 30.00cm X 26.5cm to the following address "The Secretary, Tamil Nadu MBA/MCA Admissions 2009, Government College of Technology, Coimbatore - 641 013".

Eligibility:
For M.B.A: A pass in any recognized Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with 10 + 2 + 3/4 years pattern (or) A pass in any Degree with 10+3 (Diploma) +3 years pattern.

For M.C.A: A pass in any recognized Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with 10 + 2 + 3/4 years pattern with Mathematics at +2 level or with Mathematics / Statistics as one of subjects at the degree level (or) A pass in any Degree with 10+3 (Diploma) +3 years pattern with Mathematics at Diploma level or Mathematics / Statistics as one of the subjects at the Degree level.

Entrance Examination: Candidates should have appeared for the TANCET 2009 Examination conducted by Anna University, Chennai - 600 025.
