Applications are invited for admission to the following programmes in Gandhigram Rural University, Dindigul for the academic year 2008 - 09.

Programs Offered: M.Phil, M.A, M.Sc, M.Ed, M.C.A, B.Ed, B.A, B.B.A, B.Com, PG Diploma, Post Diploma.

Important Dates to Remember:
Applications will be issued from: 05.05.2008
MCA / M.Sc IT: 23.04.2008
Last date for submission of filled in applications: UG / Diploma: 10 days from the date of issue of Higher secondary Mark statement in Tamilnadu.
MCA / M.Sc IT: 20.05.2008, PG / PG Diploma: 31.05.2008
M.Phil: 16.06.2008
Phd Programmes: Full-time / Part-time (Applications forms will be issued during August / January ) - for other details see website.

Application Cost:
1. PhD: Rs.1000.
2. M.C.A: Rs.200 (by post Rs.230)
3. MSc IT: Rs.150 (by post Rs.180)
4. All other Programmes: Rs.160 (Rs.200 by post)
5. SC / ST: FREE (for any one programme on producing the copy of the communmity certificate)
6. MO / Postal Orders / Cheques will not be accepted
7. Separate Application for each programme.
8. Applicants awaiting publication of UG / PG results also apply PG / MPhil programmes.

Mode of Payment (DD):
Demand Draft in favour of "The Registrar, Gandhigram Rural University" payable only in CANARA BANK and STATE BANK OF INDIA.

• In Person:Application from with prospectus can be had from the Deputy registrar (Academic) either by post by sending a written request specifying the programme and enclosing a crossed demand Draft purchased not earlier than the date of this advertisement, in the favour of "The Registrar, Alagappa University" payable only in CANARA BANK ,GANDHIGRAM (Bank Code No.8500) or State Bank of India, Ambathurai (Bank Code No.3373) or in person by cash payment / an additonal payment of Rs.50 made in case of DD drawn from other banks.
